SUMMARY:EYR Local Meetup Oder Delta
DESCRIPTION:The European Young Rewilders\, supported by Rewilding Europe and Rewilding Oder Delta\, will host their first local meetup in the Oder Delta this September\, at the German-Polish border. Its strategic location at one of the ecological hubs in Europe makes the Oder Delta one of the most attractive and widely ecologically unspoiled natural areas of Central Europe. You can read more about the work of Rewilding Oder Delta.  \nThe meetup will include a “wetland tour” and a day trip to the Island of Ruden. Through engaging with the local team and immersing ourselves in the area\, we will fulfill our meetup’s primary objective\, which is to show committed young rewilders a practical rewilding example that will act as inspiration for their rewilding activities in the coming years as they drive and expand rewilding initiatives in Germany\, Poland and any other countries within their influence. We believe the opportunity to network\, share views\, and collaborate on ideas with fellow young rewilders and national contacts will aid in inspiring participants.
